Positive Grid BIAS FX 2 – an updated version of the guitar emulator
Positive Grid announced the release of a new version of the popular emulator BIAS FX 2. The program was enhanced DSP engine, redesigned user interface, and a set of new amps, cabinets, and effects pedals. Engine BIAS FX 2 is based on AMP 2 and provides the most realistic sound that recreates the dynamics and characteristics of various guitar equipment.
The technology used for emulation, accurately simulates the behavior of all the internal components of devices including transistors, resistors or lamps. An interesting innovation Positive Grid BIAS FX 2 is a function of Guitar Match, which allows to apply to your instrument characteristics of other guitars, a full simulation of sensors, string, and so on. According to the developers, the idea is that the studio is no longer necessary to use several guitars for write songs, it suffices to apply guitar Match, which converts the sound of your guitar to the other instrument.
The program includes 200 new presets, each of which has 4 sets of scenarios, including different settings which may be switched instantly. This feature can be very handy for recording or live performances. The plugin also 8 new processors were added to 100 amps, 100 new effects. Other developments include BIAS FX 2: MIDI support automation, the possibility of copying the sound of pedals and chains of effects plug-BIAS Pedal to create your own pedals, built-in recorder, a set of cabinets Celestion Inside, a search on the tags.
